Emma è sempre stata appassionata di musica. Negli anni 70 e 80 aveva il suo show su diverse radio private a Roma e dintorni, compreso un programma tutto suo Rai Radio 3. All’epoca era una delle poche dj femminili a suonare nei club: specializzandosi in musica latinoamericana, andava regolarmente in Sudamerica per scoprire musica e scovare vinili che non si trovavano un Europa.
Negli anni 80, sempre a Roma, entrò nel mondo della TV e del cinema lavorando come set dressar per programmi televisivi, pubblicità e videoclip.
Trasferendosi nel Nord Italia, a partire dagli anni 90, si mise a lavorare dietro le quinte nel campo del management e editoria musicale. In questo periodo inizio il suo impegno a favore dei diritti delle donne, promuovendo una legislazione in difese di donne soggette alla violenza.
Nel 2018 si mise a fare la dj di nuovo con un sound che spazia dall’afrohouse alla melodic e organic house con influenze techno. Ha il suo party “Curly House” nel Nord Italia.

Emma has always been passionate about music. In the Seventies and Eighties she had her own show on various independent radio stations in around Rome, including her own programme on the prestigious national state-owned network, Rai Radio 3. She played vinyls in clubs and discos around Italy, one of the very few female djs at the time, specialising in Latin American dance tracks. She would go to South America regularly to source the music and pick up vinyls that were unavailable in Europe.
In the Eighties, still living in Rome, she went into the world of television and cinema working as a set dresser for TV shows, advertisements and videoclips.
Moving to northern Italy, from the Nineties she worked behind the scenes in music management and publishing. At the same she became actively involved in campaigning for women’s rights and promoting legislation in Italy in defence of abused women.
In 2018 she decided to start djing again with a sound ranging from afrohouse to melodic and organic house with some techno influences. She has her own “Curly House” party in Northern Italy.
